JOIN OUR FREE READING CLUB – FOR TEA AND JANE AUSTEN!
As this month marks the bicentenary of Jane Austen’s death 18 July 1817, we will be sharing some excerpts from her novels and finding out more the life and times of this extraordinarily successful writer at our next meeting on Monday 31st July 10am-Midday in the Library at the Epicentre.
Don’t worry if you don’t have time to read anything beforehand. This is your chance to hear more while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. We are a small informal group

The English conversation group excursion to the Vestry House Museum in Walthamstow focused on the heritage of the local area. We really enjoyed looking at all the old artefacts and pictures along with an explanation about how they link in with history by our teacher Sylvia.
