As a precautionary measure and to help slow the potential spread of COVID-19, the library will be closed until further notice.
All loans will be extended for the duration. If you have borrowed items, please do not try to return them during this time.
We hope you are keeping well during these uncertain times.

Harrow Green Community Library opened in May 2013 to fill the considerable gap left by the closure of Harrow Green Branch Library in 2011. The Library is run totally by volunteers.
Our aim is to provide a resource and a community space that is local and accessible, especially to the Cathall and Cann Hall Wards in Waltham Forest.
Thanks to many individual donations we now have a collection of 4,000 books with a particularly strong fiction collection. And a recent Lottery grant has enabled us to maximise on these resources through extra activities for all ages in the community, such as a family Saturday Storytime, creative writing and reading groups – for more information see free activities.
We are based in a small room in the Epicentre community centre and are grateful to a local housing association, the CBHA, for paying our rent. Now in our third year we are rapidly outgrowing our space and a priority is finding bigger premises.
Our children’s library is located in the Epicentre, 41 West Street, Leytonstone, E11 4LJ.
Our adult’s library is on the 1st floor of The Junction, 2-4 Cathall Road, Leytonstone, E11 4LF.
The children’s library in the Epicentre is open:
- Monday & Thursday from 3pm – 6pm
The adult’s library in The Junction is open:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10am – 7pm
- Saturday from 11am – 2pm
There’s more information about us at Our Story.
